Bible Reading: Proverbs .22:29
Diligence is defined as constant and earnest effort to accomplish what is undertaken; persistent exertion of body or mind.

Apostle Peter in one of his admonition to the disciples of his days said:”…And beside this, giving all diligence, to add to your faith virtue and to virtue knowledge…” 2Pet.1:5. In other words, to be successful in life career, business or ministry one must exhibit diligence and refuse to give room to indolence.

Every great man in history and even in our contemporary world has one thing in common DILIGENCE. It is one of God given instruments that is subject to our will power. It is also fundamentally correct to sayth no one goes to school for it; but it is earned through doggedness, determination, meticulousness and die hard passion towards your life goal.

The other features common to many who achieve greatness through diligence is ability to rise from obscurity when life rewards them unfairly. They are people who take responsibility for their failure without passing blames to others.

These set of individual posses’ eagle eye that sees nothing else but their desired end. Job.39:2730. They don’t waste their destiny time on matters of the past; but always focus on matter before them. Give your heart to embrace diligence for the future blessings await you.
